▲TopReel Women's TournamentWith the incredibly popular Reel Women's Barra Classic now entering its fifth year in the Northern Territory, the concept of specialist events for keen female anglers is finally expanding into other states. A very exciting new event in this series is planned for Lake Glenbawn, in the Upper Hunter Valley wine growing region of NSW, during late November. Run over the weekend of 26 and 27 November, 2005, the inaugural Reel Women's Hunter Valley Classic is a lure-and-fly, catch-and-release-only event focussing primarily on Glenbawn's big, fit, hard-fighting Australian bass, but also offering its female competitors points for other native fish they might encounter during the two competition days. While the Classic is open to all lady anglers, the field will be capped because of limits on the availability of accommodation close to Lake Glenbawn during this popular time of year, so interested female fishers should get in fast. To find out more and obtain an on-line entry form, visit the Reel Women website at www.reelwomen.com.au and click on the Classics icon, pick up a copy of the latest Reel Women magazine. |
